Reader matter:

i have had gotten just a bit of a crush on a co-worker. We talked with her about getting lunch. Unfortuitously, we both had different occuring times on our schedule, and I also was significantly more than an hour or so later.

A few weeks later on, she welcomed me as well as 2 various other men from company off to products along with her (along with her pals). I, sadly, needed to decline caused by a business meeting.

I then requested her over to drinks and she responded, “I’m maneuvering to the metropolis this weekend otherwise I would personally completely grab beverages.”

Personally I think like things are heading at an extremely friendly pace, but I’m nervous I appeared distant/busy/occupied, which is perhaps not my personal purpose.

Any ideas?

Rachel Dack’s Answer:

Hello John,

Seems like an unpleasant sequence of events in which you held lacking one another and were not available at the same time, but I have no worries. You’ll completely show her you have an interest by creating an effort today.

Withstand beating your self right up for almost any missed options. Show the lady you are interested and care by trying to put another thing in the calendar and continuing to speak together with her.

I additionally advise not generating a big deal of the past, but rather pay attention to keeping the text moving in the current. The wish is that you may resolidify that which you believe toward this lady and let the connection develop normally after that makes it obvious you do need to see her away from work.

If you’re conscious, articulate and provided by some time and fuel, she’s going to likely get on.

Take care,

Rachel
